About RogueLikeGames

This site was born out of passion. Since I was a kid, I’ve played just about everything: Soulslikes, classic Mario, competitive games like Fortnite, you name it. But when I discovered Hades, something clicked. The roguelike formula instantly hooked me. That unique loop of starting over, learning from failure, and mastering mechanics run after run, it felt like magic. And the creativity? Off the charts. Especially coming from indie studios that aren’t afraid to experiment where big publishers play it safe. I’m also a game designer myself, or at least, that’s the dream. I've been studying game development since 2023 and building small prototypes as a hobby. For me, games aren’t just entertainment, I love systems, mechanics, and how they shape the player’s experience. If you're developing a roguelike or roguelite game and want to collaborate, reach out. We’d love to help showcase your project. Want to stay in the loop? Join our newsletter for high-quality insights, exclusive giveaways, and the best promotions in the genre. Also, we’re building a Discord server, so you can hang out with other roguelike nerds like us. Coming soon.

Why This Site Exists

Like many roguelike fans, I’ve had those late-night obsessions where I need to know something ultra-specific, like the best seeds in Balatro to practice a rare deck. I remember looking for a resource on how to naneinf, but everything I found was either incomplete or totally useless. That’s when it hit me: there wasn’t a truly reliable site dedicated to roguelikes — not just for players looking for news and guides, but for developers too. A space where we could talk about design, share resources, and shine a spotlight on the creativity that fuels this genre. As a fellow developer, I know how hard it is to get your project seen. That’s why part of our mission is to support indie creators in this space. If your game is good and fits the genre, we want to help you share it with the right people.
