The Balatro community just got the merch drop no one saw coming. Fangamer, the Arizona-based store known for celebrating cult-favorite games, has released the official Balatro 2026 Calendar—and it’s the perfect mix of unhinged humor, cosplay, and heart. Actor Ben Starr, yes, the same one who gave us Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI, suits up once again as Balatro’s chaotic mascot, Jimbo, for twelve months of poker-themed absurdity.

If you haven’t yet played Balatro and want to know why the internet fell in love with its poker-fueled roguelike chaos, check out our full Balatro Review to understand how a deck of cards became one of the most addictive experiences of the decade.
The New Balatro Calendar Brings Twelve Months of Madness
Each month features Starr fully committed to Jimbo’s wild persona. Expect to see Santa Jimbo, Vampire Jimbo, Baseball Jimbo, and even Banana Jimbo (a cheeky nod to the game’s banana card synergy). One shot in particular—Jimbo lying among bananas, American Beauty style—is already internet legend material. It’s weird, hilarious, and somehow perfectly captures the game’s “everything is multipliers” energy.
According to Fangamer’s official description, the calendar “features 13 photos of Jimbo, as portrayed by Ben Starr, in the guise of your favorite Balatro Jokers.” There’s even a bonus condensed 2027 calendar on the final spread, and hidden Joker cards appear throughout to mark Balatro-relevant holidays like Valentine’s Day and World Egg Day.

Beyond the laughs, the Balatro calendar is all about giving back. LocalThunk and Playstack are donating all profits from each calendar sold to Extra Life and SpecialEffect, two charities that help bring games to everyone. Extra Life supports children’s hospitals through gaming marathons, while SpecialEffect helps players with physical disabilities experience games to their fullest.
Where to Grab It
The calendar is available now on Fangamer.com for $19 (or €20), shipping worldwide from Tucson. Whether you’re a fan of Balatro’s poker-fueled chaos or just want to support a good cause, this is the one piece of merch you’ll actually use all year.
